Client Spotlight – Jennifer Roscoe

Welcome to our client spotlight! We’re kicking off 2023 by featuring a real estate agent Jennifer Roscoe.  She built her career and advanced at such a fast pace in true entrepreneur spirit, all while being a super mom!

How did you get your start in Real Estate and why do you love it?

I have always been intrigued by real estate, whether watching house related TV shows or being involved while friends & family searched for a new home or rental. I have a background in healthcare, previously working as a Physical Therapist Assistant in a nursing home for years. In 2019 I decided to take a leap of faith and signed up for the real estate salesperson course. I was licensed that September. In 2020, I joined a successful, top selling real estate team as a buyer’s agent and jumped in full time! I can honestly say I have found my true passion! I believe my background as an advocate for my patients allows me to bring the same genuine care and integrity to my role as a realtor.

What Buyers and Sellers need to know about the current market.

The housing market is experiencing a shift currently. The market we experienced during Covid was an intense seller’s market, with low inventory and low interest rates combining to create a feverish need for homes. Sellers were met with multiple offers over asking within days of listing. Buyers were faced with waiving contingencies and stretching their budget to beat out the competition. Today we are seeing homes with longer days on market, price reductions, and creative incentives to temporarily lower buyer’s interest rates. Sellers are still able to capitalize on the low inventory. Buyers are up against less competition, allowing them to return to the days of home inspections, home sale contingencies and seller credits!

What makes your business unique?

There are a lot of great real estate agents in the space, but I like to think I bring a special level of care & understanding for each specific client’s situation. I eat, breathe and sleep real estate so there is no one more dialed into the market on the day to day. I pride myself on staying dialed in to my lender partners to keep on top of the ever-changing interest rates. Recently I was honored with earning into Keller Williams Luxury, which is an exclusive group of agents who have sold 4 or more luxury homes in one year. I was incredibly honored and humbled by the designation!

Mike recently commented on seeing your portrait on the Capper Wall and how professional your headshot looks.  Tell us about your recent achievement as well as your headshot experience at BPC. How has it has played a part in your career?

I was recently honored with being included in my office’s Capper Wall. To be a “capper” in Keller Williams means you have earned enough to keep 100% of your profits in an anniversary year! It is an honor to be a member of this great group of agents! Featured on this wall is my Boston Portrait Company headshot! I had the best experience with my professional headshots, Nichole & Mike were great and made me feel completely at ease. They selected amazing backdrops in the city of Boston and really showed their expertise. As a real estate agent, it is important to portray brand consistency to keep your name top of mind! The headshots I received from BPC allowed me the opportunity to create a recognizable brand within real estate!
